About Masters

Our History

Masters Preparatory School began in 2003, as a result of parent's demands for elementary grade levels from Thumbelina Learning Centers. For the past sixteen years we have been learning and growing. Throughout our growth and expansion our small setting and individualized approach to education has remained at the core. As we open our new facility we are excited to provide the same quality of education to many new students!

What We Do

Masters Preparatory School offers small class sizes and individual attention to the needs of each student. As a small school we are able to personally know each student and their needs. Teachers are trained to recognize each learning style and differentiate instruction to meet their needs.

No FSA!

As private schools in Florida do not have FSA requirements, we do not administer this standardized testing. Students will not be lost in lessons as teachers try to jam pack test-prep and meaningless information. Rather, our teachers take their time to ensure that each student is meeting state grade level standards and is fully absorbing, processing, and understanding information.

Parental Involvement

Masters Preparatory School encourages parents to be active participants in their children's education. We welcome visits, volunteers, chaperones, and any suggestions, questions, or advice that parents may have. Learning begins at home and parental involvement is essential for student success.

The Future of Masters Preparatory

Our commitment is to give our students the best that we can offer. In this effort we are constantly searching for new and innovative ways to use technology in the classrooms. All classrooms will be equipped with interactive projectors and will utilize virtual curriculums in order to engage and interest our students.

Online Grading

All grades, assignments, and student progress will be updated on a daily basis on the Gradelink, our online grading system. This system allows parent to log-in at home or on mobile app to check progress. Parents can also sign up to receive notifications if students receive low grade, are tardy or absent, or receive negative behavior marks.

Our Classrooms

Our new classrooms are designed for a maximum of 20 students. We believe that small class sizes allow teachers to engage fully with each student and give full attention to the needs of every child. It is our commitment to provide an intimate learning environment where children feel safe to explore and express.

Our Mission

It is the Mission of Masters Preparatory School to prepare each student to be productive, engaged, and successful as a member of the Masters community, as well as the community and world at large. In a warm, caring, and positive atmosphere we create an environment where students can learn comfortably, confidently, and creatively. Our students contribute to academic success through hands-on activities, active participation, and engaged learning. We understand the diverse needs of children and balance our schedules to allow children to flourish in many areas. We aim high to drive each student toward success while creating learning experiences out of each struggle and highlighting each triumph.
