KINDERGARTEN
Masters Preparatory School houses approximately 250 students, grades
Pre-K4 thru 5th. The school provides a complete educational experience.
Our academic programs are second to none, and our curriculum is
one of the best in the state of Florida. Students will also grow
and mature socially as they interact with children from several
different backgrounds. Safety is not a concern as we are located
in a well-guarded and secure location.
Children are our main priority, and children entering our program
will leave with confidence, and superior academic and social skills.
They will know and appreciate their uniqueness, capabilities, and
creativeness. In addition, they will have acquired the tools necessary
to explore their world, know their role, and succeed at any endeavor
they undertake.
Students will learn in a warm and safe learning environment where
our professional, qualified, and certified staff will teach them
how to identify their strengths and improve any weaknesses. Students
will obtain the tools necessary to overcome any challenges the future
will bring them. Our exceptional faculty along with students’ peers
will contribute to your child’s academic and social development.
Masters Preparatory School serves the community, the state, and
the nation by beginning to prepare young people to be productive
members of society. We will instill moral and ethical behavior in
our students while nurturing their intellectual and technological
development, as well as increasing literacy and critical thinking

Curriculum- “Excellence in Education
that Builds a Foundation for the Future”
Masters Preparatory School offers a complete and rich core curriculum,
as well as enrichment classes. The core curriculum consists of:
English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Foreign Language,
and Performing Arts. Enrichment is provided in electives and required
courses in Computer Science, Art, Humanities, Music, Journalism,
Dance, and Physical Education.
Combined, these offer a balanced and exciting edcation your child
will greatly benefit from and enjoy.
Our school utilizes the A Beka Book curriculum which gives a traditional
approach to learning. This cirriculum undoubtedly provides learners
with an excellent foundation for learning, as well as expounding
and building upon learned concepts. The A Beka Book approach to
education keeps learning lively, interesting, and memorable. The
materials reflect sensible theory that is firmly anchored to practicality.
A Beka Book materials have been developed as a result of 50 years
of actual classroom experience.
5-Year old Kindergarten
Students are engaged in an even more intensive 36-week program. The
kindergarten curriculum vastly builds upon the concepts learned in
the previous grade level. Students are further challenged with a more
advanced curriculum and more complex concepts that will awaken and
germinate their critical thinking and overall thinking skills. Key
elements within their learning community are:
Introduction to poetry.
Introduction to science.
Reinforcement of all concepts dealing with alphabet recognition,
blending, phonics, numbers.
More complex addition and subtraction concepts. Counting to 300
and higher number recognition.
Intensive reading using “I Do Read,” “I Can Read,” and “I Can
Read Well” books.
Introduction to social studies, geography, and various ethnicities
and cultures.
Community Helpers---Learning about different professions and possible
career paths.
Sentence writing, improvement of writing skillls.
Reading comprehension for reading and mathematics.
Money recognition and denominations.
Measurements; utilization of rulers.
Introduction to calendar, days of the week, month, and year.
Beginning computer science, language, art, dance, and music, physical
education, and safety.
Social and etiquette skills.
